A Final Fantasy XIII demo will most certainly be reaching America and Europe, but not in the way some gamer may wish. According to a recent interview of Yoshinori Kitase(producer) by Videogamer, Square Enix is exploring the possibiilty of a downloadable demo for FFXIII.

A demo of FFXIII was bundled with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children last month in Japan. If Square does release the demo for download, this will ruin Sony’s hope of quadrupiling the PS3 sales as it did in Japan. This could also ruin some fans hopes of getting their hand on the demo. The Japan demo was around 5GB big, a terror to anyone with a slower internet connection.

Trust us, Square Enix isn’t the company to lower the games quality just to get it out there, so don’t expect a small download.
