Microsoft’s Zune HD, revealed this week, is no comparison to Apple’s iPod Touch or the sleek iPhone. However, just because it isn’t made by Apple, doesn’t mean it hasn’t got a large following. A nice bit of news for the Zune HD may entice new followers for Microsoft’s media player - it is to offer a few extra features, including the oh-so-popular touchscreen.
I often think to myself how awesome shooters are, so much so that I notice stupid little things I probably shouldn’t. I also play shooters too much. They are quite simply put, my favourite video game genre. Only recently though, have I noticed something terrible, something so absurd, something that has scarred me for life.
What is this “something”?
With Nintendo dominating the handheld gaming market for years, and Sony trailing far behind, it comes as a surprise that Microsoft would even attempt to make a handheld gaming device. But wait, that’s not all, it’s also a so-called, portable media center. As a result, it’s been called a “digital entertainment handheld”.
We know your still busy playing the first Starcraft, but its sequel is finally right around the corner. Starcraft, one of the few games people still care about after 10 years, is finally getting it’s sequel. Most often called the greatest RTS of all time, it should be worth you time signing up for the beta.
A Final Fantasy XIII demo will most certainly be reaching America and Europe, but not in the way some gamer may wish. According to a recent interview of Yoshinori Kitase(producer) by Videogamer, Square Enix is exploring the possibiilty of a downloadable demo for FFXIII.
For the past few days rumors about the inevitable Call of Duty 7 have been flying around the internet. TVGB released an article stating that Call of Duty 7 is to take place during the Vietnam war. This news was brought to them by “A source we consider reliable”. This source claims that Activision has been searching for the liscenses to Vietnam War-era, African, Cuban and Soviet Union music.
Those green things that are not supposed to be able to move fast, yet can totally wipe the floor with you, are back. This time they will be appearing in a remake of 1991’s Turtles in Time. A bit late to the hardcore game party.
The Wii- probably the worst console to make a violent game for, and yet developers are trying so hard to get hardcore gamers to use it as a main system. This can be easily linked to Nintendo using all their money to buy the soul of anyone who has basic knowledge of game development.
